Leanpath CEO Andrew Shakman shared his view of the past, present and future of food waste at the 25th annual Chef's Culinary Conference at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City has been a Leanpath client since 2016. Since then they have reduced food waste by 54%, saving 61,000 pounds of food waste from hitting the landfill. We visited the team in Washington, DC, to talk about their success in preventing food waste with Leanpath.

In 2017, Sodexo automated its food waste tracking program, WasteWatch, creating WasteWatch powered by Leanpath. In May 2019, Sodexo announced it will roll out WWxLP to 3,000 sites worldwide. We visited two U.S. sites to understand their success in preventing food waste with Leanpath.
